The Course...
a perfect balance of instruction, guidance
and good practice

Courses are usually held over a three to five day period from 10 am to 4 pm.

The cost is £95 per day. Lunch is included. Courses usually have 4-6 students per class.

Materials
Materials are not included in the course but can be provided at cost. Local materials such as Cornish soapstone, granite, and the steely-blue Delabole slate are used where possible, plus local sustainable wood. Ant also has a range of beautiful alabaster to choose from.

The Workshop
Courses are conducted in Ant's large workshop or under canvas outside. All tools are provided, and he will teach and advise over appropriate tools, and setting up your own workspace at home.

A Typical Project
The possibilities are really endless! Start with a rough stone, and leave with a finished work or make several starts, and leave with work to continue at home. Explore several materials.
